In her native San Juan, PR, Miss Ivonne was a child actor and professional singer, making several recordings while still in her teens. As an energetic self-starter, she studied Communications at the University of Miami with a concentration on the motion picture industry and philosophy, following up with a Master’s Degree in Montessori Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Barry University in Miami Shores.
Ivonne has been a Montessori teacher since 2005 and has experience teaching in preschool and elementary classrooms. It has been her lifelong dream to open a school that follows the Montessori Philosophy. She believes that children should be respected, listened to and guided. Her main goal is to create a nurturing, creative and safe environment for children attending Belle Menti Montessori School.
Born in Lima, Peru, Miss Brunella came to Miami, Florida at the age of 13. She is married and has two beautiful children, Ian and Ella. Pursuing her passion for spatial design, she studied Architecture at the University of Miami with a minor in Business Administration. She worked as a designer for Royal Caribbean for many years, designing cabins, restaurants and spas for their ships. Inspired by seeing her young children flourish from Montessori education in their early years, she decided to open a home based Early Childhood Learning Center.
Miss Brunella currently serves as a board member for the Greater Miami Youth Symphony and is the co-founder of The SuperPower of ME (Music Education), which helps under privileged children continue their music education. She is a strong advocate for Montessori Education. She believes that every child is a unique learner capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.
